Compass
Compassing is a new term we use at our Studio. I am compassing. It describes using the tool the Essential Compass to process yourself. A very cutting edge tool, the Compass. I use it every day and benefit from sourcing my own body of wisdom and knowledge in the moment. If you have not learned to Compass, sign up for a course online. www.essentialcompass.com. This is essentially my lifes work offered to you in a simple three hour course.

A New Year, A New Moon, A New Dream
2014 starts out with a New Moon. There are lots of posts about dreaming big. Today I commit to Dreaming Small. Dreaming one small dream at a time as I create it with passion and intent. I have no problem dreaming big. Our program we created, The Essential Compass, I see a 1,000 people in a room doing the Compass. With Imaginative Productions, I see film after film being enjoyed by many, changing thought. Best Actors Film Festival, exceeds expectations in 5 years with the Best Actors winning awards. With Shari Carlson Studio I see award winning Actors mentioning my name at the awards ceremony. One Minute Gardener has a life of its own with many "in a minute" videos and films inspiring kids with Nature using technology.
This year I will work one day at a time with little tiny dreams celebrated each day, never taking the actual progress for granted.
Here is to One Small Dream at a time.
Joy, Life and Presence.

Is it easy?
I sometimes wonder if technology really makes things easy. Certainly not easier. Communication has always been an art. Some people gifted at it, others not so much. I am willing. Willing to learn. Willing to speak. Willing it to be easy. And yet we are all misunderstood and uninformed. I like to be clear and understood. Developing the art of listening seems to offer some ease. Is it easy to listen?

I am spending time instead of money.
Spending time instead of money seems wrong. I would much rather spend money. However, circumstances prevent me from spending money. Making money is fun and awesome. Getting more now was the name of a business that hired talent in Sausalito many years ago. I wonder if they got more. I do love spending time and attention on people I love. My new goal will be to spend time and money in places I would like to be with family and friends. Abundance is here now.

Sushi's Legacy
While we knew the day would come when Sushi would leave us, it is still a sad time.
What is joyous is what Sushi always reminded me of. This I would like to share with you. Sushi always stretched royally after she had been sitting. Most dogs do this. Even if she had been sitting for just 5 minutes when she got up she would stretch. this is a great habit. Sushi always had fresh clean filtered water. Sushi's food was always the best. She lived in quality air, where we filtered the air in the studio and at home. Best of all she had so much love. From me and everyone in the studio. This seems like a great recipe for a beautiful long life.

What is New in New Year
New. Always a good word. What makes something new? Does it mean something old like the old year is not as good? Or is it just past? Something new is current and something old is past? However if it is really old it seems it becomes more valuable. The good old days were once just the old year we were happy to get rid of. It seems it is perspective. My brother got a new dog for Christmas. His old one died. I still have the same old one. Kind of makes me happy.

Seek or Find
Most of us seek and we become seekers. Commited life long seekers. At first we were seekers of truth or enlightenment or whatever. At some point the act of seeking became the point. The vision was lost.
Even being a finder, as in I found the truth or I found whatever still can become dismissive of the moment.
I suggest be in the moment. Neither be a seeker or a finder The moment offers everything that anyone could seek or find.
But if you find my glasses I would appreciate it. I have been seeking them for hours.

Always Present
