Tell Me About Yourself

Tell me about yourself. What do you say. I don't want a resume and I don't want a list of your likes and dislikes. How about something interesting, something that will catch my attention, how about something you did or thought or experienced. Your original take on your life. Oh and leave out the ums and ah, and slapping of your legs and the clicking of your tongue. Then, actually, why don't you script this and memorize it. How about writing down a few of these in case you might need it? Then I could always say, how interesting, tell me more, or how about tell me something else interesting about you. I would like to get to know you. This special tool may come in handy in myriads of situations. Everyone should have a tell me about you kind of thing handy.
